Coronavirus (COVID-19) Vaccines

Covid Dec 26, 2021

Having safe and effective vaccination is necessary for the ending of Coronavirus pandemic. To see many vaccines going into development and proved is really encouraging. World Health Organization is working with their partners in the manufacturing of effective and safe vaccines and their deployment.
Safe and effective vaccines:
Effective and safe vaccines are a game changer, but a foreseeable future require continuous wearing of masks, clean hands, physical distance, avoid crowding and good ventilation of indoors.
After vaccination, it doesn't mean that you can't follow Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and throw safety cautions to wind and put ourselves on the edge of death and put others lives in danger. This is because it is not clear yet how vaccines can protect you against disease, but also against the transmission of infection.

Different COVID-19 Vaccines:

There are many vaccines available and widely used for the people above 5 years and older. Mostly you don't need any appointment for your vaccination done. So, you can get vaccine as soon as possible to save yours's and others life.
All COVID-19 vaccines that are currently authorized and approved are really effective and safe, these vaccines can reduce the risk of severe illness. One more important thing, never get one vaccine over another vaccine, Centers for Disease Control and Preventions strictly prohibited the use of one vaccine over another vaccine.

Pfizer-BioNTech:

Pfizer-BioNTech or COMIRNATY is a COVID-19 vaccine of type mRNA, and its 2 doses are given. There is a difference of 21 days between each dose. And after second dose there is an additional third dose given after 28 days. Additional third dose is given to the people of 12 aged or older than 12. Pfizer-BioNTech shots in upper arm muscles.
People from 16-17 years old should have to get a booster dose at least 6 months after their primary series of Pfizer-BioNTech. These teens can get booster dose of vaccine Pfizer-BioNTech, While people of age 18 or older can get any authorized COVID-19 vaccine in US as their booster shot.

Ingredients:

Few ingredients are used as possible in the manufacture of COVID-19 vaccines, and these ingredients are also used in very little amount. All ingredients of COVID-19 vaccines serve its specific purpose, and these ingredients are safe too. COVIID-19 vaccine Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine contains ingredients found in foods like salts, fats and sugars, and it also contains harmless piece of messenger RNA (mRNA) of COVID-19. The mRNA of COVID-19 tells\teaches body cells, how to create immune response to COVID-19 caused virus. The immune response helps to protect human body from getting infected by the virus in future. After an immune response is formed in the human body, it discards all ingredients of vaccine that cell doesn't need longer. The discard of non-essential vaccine ingredients from the body is also the process important for normal functioning of the body.

The CanSino vaccine is developed by military of China and Tianjin based CanSino Biologics. This is single dosed viral vector, and this vaccine is suitable for people over 18 years. Genetic material from new coronavirus is carried to human body with the help of CanSino's vaccine, that use cold modified virus to carry genetic material to the human body. CanSino vaccine is stored and transported in refrigerators at 2-8 C.

CanSino vaccine is less choosy than other standard vaccines. This vaccine doesn't need to keep track of people given first dose and then scheduled the next dose. CanSino vaccine is more convenient to distribute and store. This vaccine given it an edge over vaccines like Moderna, Pfizer and AstraZeneca.

Moderna is a mRNA type COVID-19 vaccine. 2 doses of vaccine are given to the people and people who are severely immunocompromised should get additional third dose after 28 days of their second dose. Adults above 18 years should get booster dose after 6 months of their Moderna vaccination. Moderna's vaccination shots in the upper arm muscles.

There is a difference of 4-12 weeks after dose, and additional third dose for those with severely immunocompromised people.
After three months of vaccination Adults above 18 years should get booster dose. The booster dose is either of Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna or simply AstraZeneca's dose.
